Sunset is still the highest chart peak

Sunset came out on 1 May 2005, reached 22 on the Dutch Single Top 100 and 28 in the Top 40, and is still his highest peak.

Sunset was released on 1 May 2005 and still holds Ron van den Beuken’s highest place on the Dutch Single Top 100, at number 22. It reached 28 in the Top 40 and stayed for three weeks. Radio 538 named it a Dancesmash.

Next to the clubbier Timeless and Overdrive, the record feels more open: a wide chord, a steady pulse, and a melody that is easy to place even outside a set. For a listener who missed 2003, Sunset is often the door into the catalogue.

The same season brought Feelings (My Children) and Tibet under the Clokx name. Sunset, like Timeless, is signed with his own name. The alias and the proper name were running in parallel, and the sales peak stayed with Sunset.
